For me, definitely. It has the prettiest online editor I know, and I often use it for brain dumps/private ramblings, as well as for writing drafts of blog posts etc, which I want to continue writing on a different computer. I have the Pro account, which I keep extending when they offer discounts, which happens fairly regularly. It's a bit embarrassing to pay for an online editor... but I love all these pretty fonts and backgrounds too much ;)
(The Android app is crap though. It only makes sense to use Penzu on the desktop, IMHO.)
What a lovely answer. I remember you had mentioned it before (and also talked about the pretty fonts and customisability), but back then I never got into it. Now I thought of it again, exactly for the usage you described. And of course I’m intrigued by the prettiness.
I thought I had an account from ages ago, but when I tried to log in with the info I had in Bitwarden, it said that there’s no such user. So, either I deleted it, or it was removed for inactivity.
Time to make a new account, then. Thanks for feeding my curiosity ;-)
Soooo.... I signed up, and started writing on there. You're definitely right that it works very well for things I want to continue from a different computer (I do this way more since I moved, because sometimes I also type from mom's place. Before, I either typed from my comp or from the phone). Also, so many pretty fonts and styles and colours.
For now I have one journal for my ramblings about this and that - where I can also jot down random thoughts that don't have to go with a longer entry (my previous journalling app always made me feel bad if I didn't write "properly" in it. But of course, we don't have to discuss whether it's the fault of the app or me...). And I made one for my Czech studies as well. The idea is to start properly "studying" from the 1st of September, but I wrote a little bit already now.
Let's see how this goes. Should be fun!
(And you were right about the discounted price for a Pro account. I got mine for $10, which seems very reasonable for something I feel like I'm going to want to use quite a bit.)
I'm glad you've managed to get the Pro version right away, so you can enjoy the fonts and the colours and multiple journals. Of course Pro+ has even *more* fonts, but it's terribly overpriced.
Starting to properly studying from the 1st of September? That's a nice idea - good luck!!
