Genshin Impact squeeage
Wednesday, January 18th, 2023 13:12Today, Alhaitham was released as a playable character in Genshin Impact.
I've known about this for a while, of course, so I've been saving up wishes for him. I did almost no wishing since getting Nahida back in November, but I was still not confident that I would have enough to be sure to get him right away.
Imagine how I felt going to bed last night, knowing that the update would be ready by the time I got up today? Suffice to say, I felt kind of like a little kid on the night before Christmas or their birthday.
... and - luckily - I have good news.
He came home within my first 10 wishes! That also meant I had wishes left to try for his signature weapon. It's the first time I've ever tried to wish on the weapon banner, because I tend to feel that getting characters is more important than getting their weapons, but... it seemed only right to try this time.
The weapon took some more wishes to get, but I got it! So, I have Alhaitham AND his signature weapon now.
I. Am. So. Happy.
