Wow, that's very impressive! I've never been *any* good at crossword puzzles. Maybe only the "joke crosswords", where all the questions are funny/riddle-like descriptions of common words, so the puzzle doesn't rely on encyclopedic knowledge but on lateral thinking and sense of humour. I used to solve these together with a coworker who was also into them, back in that other country many years ago. But crosswords that actually require knowing something, like town names? Nah ;) Sounds like you're doing great with those!
